New scheme for early career researchers
As part of the University’s commitment to developing its Early Career Researchers and support for Knowledge Exchange activities, Research and Innovation Services (RIS) is running an Early Career Researcher Scheme (ECRS) aimed specifically at researchers and lecturers who have had less than six years’ experience post PhD.
This scheme offers a bespoke development programme for Early Career Researchers who are committed to developing their research careers.
The development programme will provide an understanding of exchange practices (eg, impact, knowledge exchange and collaboration), and teach practical processes of developing research ideas, as well as explain how to find and apply for funding to support these. After completion of this programme, participants will be eligible to apply for one of a small number of grant awards to carry out their own research project.
